Filming In The Sun - Looking Like Chocolate

Usually sporting very fair skins, Shirley Yeung and Linda Chung were filming under the hot summer sun for "Circus Of Life" and were sweltering in the heat. Shirley complains: "The show is about treasure hunting, so we often have to film on location in some remote areas, making us become rather tanned and our arms and legs are now the colour of chocolate. I prefer to be whiter, so all I can do is put on more sunscreen and powder, so I don't look too dark on screen." Although constantly filming on location, Linda is not finding it too hard work, because she nearly suffered heat stroke filming for "Always on Standby": "Last time I had to wear a helmet for filming and in the sun and heat, it was much harder."

Advertising A Slimming Product

Shirley Yeung was dressed in a low cut top and mini skirt as she showed off her striking 34C, 23,33.5 figure in a beauty promotion in a department store earlier and when the men in the audience spotted her, they immediately found a good vantage point to take a closer look, as cameras, phones and video cameras were all brought out to capture her beauty.

Although Shirley has a rather petite frame, she is quite brave and faced with such a crowd of hot-blooded youths, she looked up and waved to them joking she was not worried about being noticed: "I have done all the safety precautions, so I am not afraid." Even if they get a rather sexy photo and keep it in a secret collection, she doesn't mind: "It is to be expected in this kind of work and I don't mind because I can show off all my hard work to everyone. As for a collection, I don't think I am worth so much, but I am glad they admire me." Shirley adds that her boyfriend understands she has to dress this way for work so he will not be annoyed.

Afterwards, the queues went out into the street as nearly 300 people crowded round to get the free gifts and there was some chaos as a scuffle broke out between a man and a reporter, that had to be broken up by security. Organiser Mariane Chan was a little worried, but also very pleased as she smiled: "It just proved that Shirley has an absolute value and I believe that she will bring me good luck."

Shirley Scratches Boyfriend's Car

Shirley Yeung took part in the blessing ceremony for her new series and she revealed to the reporters that she had made a large error lately. Whilst driving her own car, she had accidentally bumped into her boyfriend Gregory Lee's car. She said with some regret: "When I was going home, I accidentally scratched Gregory's car. It was my fault for not looking in the mirror. This is the first time in my life I have made this mistake and Gregory felt like he had been stabbed with a knife! There is a dent about the size of a fist in my own car as well that will cost a few thousand dollars to fix. (Will you be fixing them in turn?) Yes, mine is being mended now and Gregory is driving me to work every day." Everyone has consoled Shirley saying that to pay a little money prevents an even bigger mishap!

Shirley's Ambition To Join The Police

Shirley Yeung has been filming for "Always On Standby" recently, where she plays a disabled communications officer for the Government Flying Services. She had done all her homework in preparing for the role and joined the crew at GFS headquarters for training, but they were met with a big case on the first day: On that day, there was a climber who had an accident at a waterfall and there were children there too. The artistes were all very frightened, but the GFS crew was very calm and handed out jobs very quickly, gaining everyone's admiration.

Despite her delicate stature, Shirley's childhood ambition was to become a police officer to help keep the peace in the society. Being a police officer is very stylish and a great responsibility. Female officers are even more complex as the combine both strength and gentleness. However, Shirley's interest in education was even greater, so she decided to become a teacher instead.

I rarely wear costumes aside from playing the early republic Leung Foon. Ten years ago I seemed to have played Sai Moon Chui Shuet, which scared even me. However I have seen (Bowie) Lam Bo Yi in costume, I think I should be ok. I am very flexible." Sammul sacrificed his face to put on fake facial hair like Dr. Hur Jun, but he was made fun of as resembling cartoon character Bruto. "I am very satisfied myself. I have little facial hair. Super Trio Show

Shirley Yeung, Tats Lau, Nancy, Johnny Tang, Belle Lau and Michael Tse were guests on the latest episode of "Super Trio Show" that was taped two days ago. Originally Deric Wan was to be in the guest list, but because he was filming, he did not make it back and Michael was pulled into the line up at the last minute. He arrived after filming for "Virtues of Harmony" without eating his evening meal, showing his professionalism. When Eric Tsang introduced Shirley, he said: "She is Yeung Sze Ki and not Lee Sze Ki, but she may become Lee Yeung Sze Ki later!" indicating that she will be marrying Gregory Lee sooner or later.

As for Michael who will be getting married next year, Eric threw a rather dampening comment on him as he entered the stage: "The world is ever changing, will you make it to the end?" and leaving Michael rather embarrassed. Apart from this, Chin Ka Lok joked about Belle's lack of figure as well as he introduced her.

When playing the first game on the stone path, Shirley exclaimed that the stones were 'poking' her and Eric immediately laughed: "You'd better tell Mr Lee." Afterwards, when she was jumping, Eric told her to shout out: "I am a Lee," but Shirley shouted that she was a Yeung. When Eric told her to say: "I like 'little Lee'!" she said: "I like little dogs!" instead. In reaction to being picked on by Eric all the time, Shirley says that she did not mind because she has wanted to be a guest on the show for a long time and Eric was just trying to create a happy atmosphere.

As for contesting for the seaweed with Tats, was she frightened by his appearance? Shirley says openly that she she was just staring at the biscuit stick and not at him. When asked if she felt that this game was rather unhygienic, she said that it was okay for a game.

More Filming On A Wheelchair

Linda Chung, Lai Lok Yi, Shirley Yeung and Ekin Cheng have been busy filming for "Always On Standby" recently and they comment that Ekin is like a big kid, always making them laugh and taking the pressure off. Linda says: "We can even make a game out of clapping." Ekin often buys us all food, so no wonder he is so popular.

Lok Yi and Shirley Yeung have a lot of scenes together and as Shirley has to play a disabled girl in a wheelchair, he has to bend down all the time to speak to her. Lok Yi also complains that she often doesn't stop in time and crashes the wheelchair into his legs.

Kwun Tong Professional Education College's "Professional Film Development Project"

Shirley Yeung took on a special project recently for the Kwun Tong Professional Education College's "Professional Film Development Project" where she worked for free to shoot a set of 'Constable and Entertainer' images, with looks similar to those from Zhang Ziyi's "House of Flying Daggers".

During filming, Shirley posed in a sexy dropped shoulder costume with a Pipa, whilst also showing a strong official air to her. She says: "The job was quite challenging because when you are acting, you use your voice and expressions to get your feeling across, but for still photos, then you can only use a picture to get the message across, so it is quite difficult".

Filming In The Rain

Shirley Yeung and Bowie Lam yesterday worked on the TVB series "Always On Standby". Shirley had to be in the rain in a wheelchair several times for an hour. Even though the temperature dipped, she had no complaint. Even pedestrians said, "Getting all wet in this strong wind is such a shame." Shirley expressed, "I already have something underneath. I have plastic wrap, heat pads, but because the water came down from my neck it was freezing. That's why I don't dare the bad take. I am worried about catching a cold for the studio shoot at night".

Playing A Disabled Character

Shirley will soon begin filming for new series "Always On Standby" and in the show, she will play a disabled person in a wheelchair. Shirley says: "The company wants it to be as realistic as possible, so they have bought me a wheelchair. I have started to use it and as I am pushing it hard with my arms, I am worried that in time, I will begin developing very muscly arms."

When asked if this was rather unlucky to be trying this in the New Year period, Shirley says she is not superstitious about these things because she wants to be fully prepared for her performance. As it was the 28th day of the 12-month yesterday, will Shirley be following the tradition of 'cleaning'? She says: "When I get home, I will be giving my dogs a bath and changing them into new clothes.

Costume Fitting For "Awaiting Order Anytime"

Bowie Lam, Shirley Yeung and Gregory Lee donned their flying services uniform costumes in a costume tryout for TVB's new series "Always on Standby" and Bowie's uniform had a zip in the groin area and he laughed: "Don't be curious, I have asked about it and it is for ease of going to the toilet."

As for Shirley Yeung, after working opposite real-life boyfriend Gregory in "Blade Heart", they will be partnering each other again in the new show. When asked if they would get married in this show, she replied at first saying: "I don't know yet." but later she clarified saying: "I don't know what we will be doing in the show, but in real life I have not thought about it because it is still too soon." Even though she will be working opposite rumored enemy Charmaine Sheh in the new show, Shirley says: "I don't know if we are in the same storyline, but I am not worried anyway and don't want to talk about it again".

Gregory responded to Shirley's earlier fortune reading for the year of the rooster and being asked whether he would propose to her by laughing: "No, I am too young and want to do some work first. I am not worried about her having romance because it can also mean popularity and she is always liked by many. It is all about her really, I have faith in her and she is very dedicated, especially to her dogs!" Shirley had to have her dyed hair sprayed black again to give a better image: "I have to look professional, so I plan to dye my hair black again." She will be having romances in the story with Chris Lai and Bowie, but not with Gregory.
