Shirley Yeung Reveals Steven Ma Has A Female Visitor To Set

Shirley Yeung and Steven Ma were invited onto a CRHK radio show for an interview yesterday and Shirley suddenly revealed that whilst they were filming earlier, Steven had a pretty girl visiting him on the set and bringing him Turtle Herb Jelly, so it seems that Steven has a new love in his life. When asked about this further, Steven seemed a little embarrassed and hesitant, saying that even if he was dating, he would not reveal it.

Steven worked together with Shirley in "The Brink Of Law" which is currently airing and Shirley revealed that during filming, she noticed a pretty girl visiting him. Shirley says she does not know the girl, but she is very respectable. She did not show any intimate behaviour with Steven, so it seems they are just friends. Asked about this, Steven said she was just a friend and of course she is respectable. For people to visit him on set is a very ordinary occurrence. When the reporters pushed the point that to visit them at work, then this person must be quite close, he looked over at Shirley and laughed: "This is all your fault!" Steven insists he is not embarrassed, but as she is from outside the industry, then the less he says, the better. Asked if he will keep this relationship underground, he feels that until a relationship reaches the final stage then there is no point in saying too much. When the time comes to get married, then he will go public, but he will not talk about dating.

Shirley realised she had said too much and tried to make things up by pointing out that she has only seen the girl once and she does not feel that Steven is always on the phone. Steven smiled as he said to Shirley: "And I look after you so well." Shirley was very apologetic to Steven and said: "I know." Steven says that she didn't mean it though, so he will not be mad at her.

Myoile & Bosco Continue To Be The Centre Of Attention At Charity Walk

The Hong Kong and Kowloon Community Chest Charity Walk started in the morning yesterday at the Hong Kong Stadium and rumoured couple Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu were there together and immediately became the focus of media attention. However, the two were very open and even posed for photographs together, insisting that they are just good friends.

Although there were many other celebrities at the event including Ron Ng, Elaine Yiu, Shirley Yeung and Koni Lui, Bosco and Myolie attracted the most attention. TVB General Manager Stephen Chan also made an appearance and was also joined by Lai Lok Yi, Tracy Ip and Anne Heung. With the weather quite chilly yesterday, Bosco was asked if this was the warmest walk he had been on. He says that he feels that this is the coldest year yet and that he and Myolie are just good friends. He says: "You can see she is wearing a jumper and a woolly hat. I just have a scarf." He has also had some rumours generated recently after filming with Natalie Tong, has this affected their relationship? He says there is no relevance and he will not think about his rumours too much.

Shirley Hopes To Open A Dessert Shop

Shirley Yeung attended two events yesterday and in the afternoon, she joined Suki Chui at the opening of the JP One restaurant in Shatin. They demonstrated their cookery skills at the event making Chinese and western style breakfasts. Shirley has worked with this company for two or three years now and her fee has risen steadily making her very happy.

Shirley admits that she likes to eat, so in the future, she hopes to open a dessert shop. Asked if she can cook, she says that she knows how to make sweet soup and fruit jellies, but she rarely cooks for her boyfriend because normally he cooks for her. Asked if she will collaborate with him for her business, she smiles that she would rather he cooked more for her instead. Suki's cookery is not good at all and only her parents have tried her cookery, not even her boyfriend. Asked what she can cook, she says that she tried to do desserts and Western meals, but she is not so good with Chinese dishes. As for her signature dish, it is making rice. She can also fry eggs.

Watery Promotion For "The Brink Of Law"

TVB will begin airing new series "The Brink Of Law" on Monday and a promotional event was held at a hotel swimming pool yesterday morning, attended by cast members including Steven Ma, Ron Ng, Shirley Yeung, Sherming Yiu, June Chan, Karen Lee, Yoyo Chan and Kenneth Ma. Ron arrived 45 minutes late and was first to be pushed into the pool as a punishment by the girls, whilst producer Mui Siu Ching said to him on the microphone: "Don't be late next time!" Afterwards, Ron said that Siu Ching was right and he knows what he did was wrong. He says: "Sorry, I feel bad because I set my alarm wrong. The event started at 11am, but I set the alarm to go off at 11:30."

Although it was quite cold yesterday, the pool was heated, so the girls all appeared in their swimsuits and showed off their figures in the water. Shirley's costume was quite conservative though and she says this is because they have to play games so she had to avoid exposing herself, so she chose a sportier swimsuit. As a result, with their better figures, Sherming, June and Karen stole most of the limelight in their bikinis. Shirley said graciously: "It doesn't matter, it is all just for the promotion. (Does your boyfriend not like you looking sexy?) Of course not! The most important thing was not to expose myself during the games." Shirley had to rush off to another event afterwards, so she was keeping a close guard on her hairstyle during the games and avoiding getting it wet.

Shirley Yeung Is A Villain For The First Time

Last year was a plentiful year for Shirley Yeung; on TV she won two awards, and also had the chance to appear on big screen. Shirley has always been calmly waiting for opportunity to find a breakthrough role. This is her first time as a villain in a TVB series and she feels that the role is full of expectancy.

Last year Shirley's work results were teeming too, other than receiving the "Best Supporting Actress", she had earlier, in part of the TV Program, "Women To Be Comfortable 3", obtained the "Most Outstanding Actor Award" at the 42nd Chicago International TV Festival. This extremely surprised Shirley: "Before filming, I never knew it was running for an award, so I just did my best like I did with all my other work. It talks about a blind female writer's story. After I finished reading the book I was already moved by it. Beforehand, I went and had a chat with her, and saw a lot of her information, for when I'm actually filming I could completely concentrate and empathize what she has been through.

Always does preparation in advance, Shirley brought honor to the Chinese people. According to the directors, the award Shirley had won had not been received by a Chinese person in five years. Shirley says: "I feel so flattered!"

Even so, there are still many people who criticize Shirley's performance, she says: "If one criticizes oneself, then they must think about it. But if they criticize me, all they want is me to do better. If they don't worry about me so much they wouldn't use such 'strength' to talk about me!"

In about-to-air "The Brink Of Law", is Shirley's first time as a villain, it's since entering the entertainment circle for five years' first time. Usually happy and smiling, while filming she suddenly going silent ?making the other cast and crew think she is sick or unhappy. Smiling, she says: "I dare not to talk too much in order to portray the role well, but making others worry, makes me feel bad."

Shirley hopes the role of hers will bring the audience a fresh new feeling. She's not afraid of being yelled at: "Nowadays, family audiences are smart. If there is really someone who wants to yell at me, I will be very happy. It shows that I did a good job. I've never felt this mood before, I can't wait until this series has finally aired."

From Miss Hong Kong, Shirley's work opportunities aren't little ?but Shirley chose to go out with Gregory Lee. The two's status and income quickly became the headline of a newspaper article. Earlier, Shirley took part in a swim suit show ?it immediately rumoured in magazines and newspapers as selling 'meat' to pay off boyfriends' expenses. Shirley says: "How does it look like he needs me to raise him! The money I make is for my own house and everyone understands the issue, so he's not offended."

Putting work as number one, Shirley temporarily will not consider about marriage: "Haven't planned it, now I just want to do my work as best as I can. Others, just allow nature take its course, the 'sky' will have its arrangements. As for having a baby, if there's a chance then I've have it! But I'm not married yet, and there aren't any plans."

"The Brink Of Law" Promotion At Shatin Racecourse

TVB's new series "The Brink of Law" will begin airing next Monday after the end of "Dicey Business". As this show deals with combatting illegal gambling on horses, a group of cast members took part in a promotional event at the Shatin Racecourse and those present included Steven Ma, Bernice Liu, Shirley Yeung, Kate Tsui, Michelle Yim, Ron Ng and Kenneth Ma. As well as playing games, the stars also posed for photographs with the horses. However, they were not very co-operative, losing his temper and leaving droppings everywhere, so there was a lot of waiting around before they could successfully complete the photographs. During the shooting game, Steven accidentally aimed the gun at the floor, dropping all the pellets and causing everyone to laugh at him. Ron was blindfolded for his shot and this frightened everyone into running away.

Recently the fortune tellers have said that Shirley has good luck this year and a chance of getting married in 2007. She smiles that she is happy to hear that she will have good luck, but she will not be getting married so soon. She says: "Unless it is a lightning marriage, but I don't think so. (What if there was a third person?) What? A dog? No. I like my job at the moment." She says that she has dated her boyfriend for several years and it is fashionable to have a long marathon of love, but she does intend to have children after she gets married. Shirley indicates that usually she does not dare to have her fortune read because it is ok if they say something good, but if they say something bad, then it will leave a shadow.
