Shirley Yeung Attends Veterinarian Event

Yesterday, Shirley Yeung and Paul Wong attended a veterinarian promotional event with their pet dogs. There were at least two hundred veterinarians present to help with this promotion and Paul's dog, Grape, is a dog therapist and Shirley hopes her dog Ah Mung will also enter the medical profession. Shirley said that Ah Mung's cheerful personality is suitable to help the elderly.

Shirley also expresses that Ah Mung's weakness is that he loves to eat and will sacrifice anything for food. Although Ah Mung is only 4 years old, he is already the father of 4 female puppies. In his spare time, Ah Mung will teach and take care of his daughters.

Shirley Might Have To Work On Valentine's Day

Yesterday, Shirley Yeung and well known chef, Chow Jung filmed the weekly TV program of "Star Class Kitchen" in celebrating of the New Year. In one go, Shirley filmed four episodes, and learnt eight different dishes. When asking her will she go home and ask her boyfriend try her food ?making him the 'white mouse'? She laughs: "I'll ask my family to be the 'white mice', or my dogs could try some." (When will you cook for your boyfriend?) "One day, we'll see!" (For Valentines Day, will you personally cook yourself?) "I don't know yet! We might all go out for dinner, because we usually go out to eat. Though, I might need to go to work that day."

"The Brink Of Law Promotion" - Ron Ng Afraid To Receive Congratulatory Kisses From Actresses

Ron Ng, Steven Ma, Shirley Yeung, Kate Tsui, Chan Kei, and Chan Wing Yin participated in a mini-bike competition to promote "The Brink Of Law". As a skilled driver, Ron won the competition and Kate and Chan Kei were in second and third place. When the winners appeared onstage to receive their awards and flowers, Steven gave a congratulatory kiss to Kate so MC Lee Kwok Lun suggested that Shirley should give Ron a kiss as well to celebrate his victory. But Ron vehemently refused to accept the kiss! So in the end, Shirley blew him a kiss instead.

Afterwards Ron denied that he refused the kisses due to his fear of rumors. "I was not afraid, but I knew that the actresses would not kiss me anyway. So I'll rather step forward and be the bad guy instead!" (Is Ron staying away from all females?) "No, today was only a promotional event. There is no need to stay away from all females." Ron noted that "The Brink Of Law" received good word of mouth and is confident that the ending will be able to achieve ideal ratings.

Shirley was quite clumsy while maneuvering her mini-bike. Aside from a minor crash, she also accidentally rolled over Chan Kei's right leg. Luckily the mishap was harmless and Shirley admitted to being a dangerous driver. When speaking about her not giving Ron a congratulatory kiss, she laughs: "I blew him a kiss! There are alot of fans everywhere so one is enough!"

Ron & Shirley Deny Meeting 'Hungry Wolf' In Guangzhou

Having just returned from a promotional tour of Chongqing and Xian, Ron Ng and Shirley Yeung promoted their new series "The Brink of Law" on a radio show yesterday and as the show enters the climactic point, they urged the viewers not to miss it.

Having been on a non-stop trip recently, there were earlier reports that when they were in Guangzhou, Shirley was surrounded by a pack of 'hungry wolves' who wanted to touch her. Asked if she was afraid, she explained: "Maybe it was a camera angle problem, but the event was a very healthy one and that magazine is not one that is very accurate because they say I was just singing, but I also had other jobs such as openings and a laying a foundation stone. The job was found for me by the company, so I am confident in them."

To avoid too much focus on her, Shirley says that Ron was actually surrounded by a lot of his fans and some were so excited that they burst into tears. Ron says that maybe it was because they were in a new development area that very few artistes go to, then the fans were especially emotional and he jokes that the fans were probably crying because they had see Shirley. Asked if he would do anything that the fans asked of him, Ron says that they just wanted simple things like having their photo taken with him, so of course he would do that. Did any of the fans want a kiss? He says immediately: "No, even if they did, I would push them away politely."

Often appearing together recently for promotions, are they afraid of raising gossip? Shirley says confidently that she does not worry about this and Ron agrees that there will be no rumours between them.

Shirley Yeung Continues Being The Spokesperson For "Starrywood"

As the spokesperson of the clothes brand "Starrywood", Shirley Yeung filmed an advertisement on a day under cold weather. With numerous sets of spring and summer clothing, it was so cold she was shaking. Although days have been cooler, with the temperature of only 12-13 degrees celsius, Shirley still managed to change into more than 20 sets of clothes ?which consisted of singlets and short skirts.

Without any complaints, Shirley says: "I'm used to being in the sun when filming series, always having to film summer-type series in winter. My whole body is used to it, so I'm not afraid of being cold. I'm quite healthy too." (Have you prepared anything to protect you against the cold?) "Proprietress is very caring; she had prepared enough warm packages for me. I remember the hardest time was when I went to 'Ocean Park' to film an advertisement; it was cold and it was raining. It was almost 'eighth wind', so distressed. Good thing that the result for what we filmed was pretty good."

Moreover, it has already been five years since Shirley held the title as "Starrywood"'s spokesperson. She says: "I've entered the industry for five years; I've always been a spokesperson for this brand. It feels like it's been with me for a long time, really close."

In addition, Shirley reveals that she really wants to become a spokesperson for a shampoo advertisement: "I've kept my hair long for a quite a while, but till now, people still don't recognize it. Next, I want to be a spokesperson for a food ad, because I love to eat!"
