Julian Cheung, Shirley Yeung, Margie Tsang and Bui On Kei were filming for the last episode of Nat Chan's Olympic game show last night. Yesterday, Shirley Yeung and Yip Yu Cheng took part of the "Hundred People Wealthy Banquet" held by the Hollywood Square. At the event, one hundred people were chosen to participate in this banquet as guests whom received free food such as fish, shark fin, bird's nest, black truffle and gold foil cake.
Shirley expresses: "Normally I would only eat such food on special days or events with my family, but as for bird's nest I have eaten a fair bit. My mum would usually make bird's nest for me to eat at home, and she would also take her time to soak the bird's nest and then one by one cull the mixed hair. Every time I eat it, I would finish the whole thing, so I won't throw all her hard work away."
In addition, TVB had recently been letting female artistes take part in swimsuit shows, making them gain extra money. Previously, Shirley had always taken part in many swimsuit shows, but now, there is more competition seeing that Fala and Leanne are "fighting for rice bowl" as well. CCTV held a large scale concert to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong handover, entitled "Celebrating Hong Kong's 10 Year Return 2007 [Same Song] Large Scale Concert". The concert series ended yesterday, featuring numerous artists from Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, such as, Liza Wang, George Lam, Alec Su, Denise Ho, Gigi Leung, Kenny Chung, Athena Chu, Wong Hiu Ming, Lui Fong, Andy Hui etc. TVB artists, Raymond Lam, Shirley Yeung, Bernice Liu, Tracy Ip, etc. were also present. The show's MC's included Eric Tsang, Dodo Cheng, Ng Dai Wai, Tsang Bo Yee and Leung Wing Ban. There were 1,500 people in the audience.
After Raymond, Patrick, Shirley, Bernice, Anne, and Tracy sang their song together, Eric Tsang asked the artists to express their feelings in Mandarin. This challenged the TVB artists' dialect skills. Unable to utter a single sentence in Mandarin, Bernice asked embarassingly whether she could speak in English instead. CCTV held the concert to celebrate the peaceful relations between China and Hong Kong since the handover in 1997. Liza Wang opened the concert by singing, "Ten Thousand Waters A Thousand Mountains Are Still Feelings" and "Courageous Chinese People". She commented that since the handover, 2007 was the best year thus far in terms of policy and civil rights. She noted that the current state was not easily established and should be cherished.
Raymond was quite moved by the 10th anniversary of the handover. In the past, he did not deeply understand the culture in mainland. However since the handover, he said that the economy and numerous other advancements were positive. He felt the mainland market was very broad and offered many opportunities. Yesterday, Shirley Yeung, Bernice Liu and Bosco Wong were filming a promotional clip for the TVB series "Devil's Disciples". As for being disapproved about their relationship going public, Shirley immediately says that going out with boyfriend Gregory Lee, they have always kept a low-key. Yesterday Fala Chen, Shirley Yeung and Tracy Ip took part of a swimsuit show hosted by Causeqay Bay. With the three beautiful ladies wearing the same clothing line, they stole the limelight of the sexy model Cara. G ?as well as making the originally hot temperature rise higher. There were also a number of female reporters whom had fainted because of the heat.
Having come from a background of a beauty pageant, Shirley, Fala and Tracy fought to show off their figures, but luckily they have worn something underneath beforehand to prevent exposure. As this is Fala's second time to participate in a public swimsuit show, she says that she isn't worried about the safety problem. Plus before going onstage she had already tried the swimsuits and they were all quite fitting. (Was she afraid that the reporters would compare the three of their body figures?) Fala expresses that she's not afraid; she thinks that Tracy's figure is really tall and Shirley's is well balanced. They cannot steal each other's limelight.

Shirley has had little dance practices but at the moment, she will be attending classes two times a week.
