Kate Tsui Is Happy That Warehoused Series Will Be Airing

The pre-modern series "The Price Of Greed" had a promotional function yesterday at a shopping centre in Tseung Kwan O. Cast who attended included Bosco Wong, Shirley Yeung, Kate Tsui, Vivien Yeo, etc. Sammul Chan was nowhere to be seen. This series was warehoused in 2006 and is also first time Kate leading in a series. Kate reveals that she has never thought that this series will be aired, because they filmed a long time ago and seeing that it's going to be aired in January, she is very happy and believes that it might be luck. Although the series will not be aired on the Jadeworld Channel, Kate expresses that she is happy that it’s able to be aired.

In the series Shirley will portray a girl who is mute. Previously, she had played roles where she was disabled and believes that it's good experience. She hopes she will be given opportunity to play a variety of roles, not just given the same type of roles to act. Bosco's "Wars Of In-Laws 2" will be airing in the same week as this series, it'll be like hitting himself. He says he cannot avoid it. Haven't been airing series for while, he's dominating two channels at one time.

Shirley Yeung Receives More Jobs For The New Year

Yesterday, Shirley Yeung attended the "EMax Gives You One Wish - Hoping Your Wish Comes True" function appearing as a wish fairy. Her job was to help 5 people who had put their wishes into the 'wish come true mailbox' make their dreams come true.

Although Shirley has to work through Christmas, but luckily she still had time to eat dinner with her parents. As for the presents, she laughs: "I received a hand-made scarf and blessings and messages from mainland fans. Unfortunately I've been quite busy so I haven't had time to reply back to my friends." Shirley reveals that she was offered numerous functions during the New Year. Other than jobs in Hong Kong, she will be filming shampoo and skin care advertisements. The income this year was indeed more than last years. When asking how she will reward herself, she smiles that she will eat more, because of her busy work; she doesn’t have a fixed eating time. And besides, it'll be hard to work if she doesn't have enough energy for work. Plus now that it's winter, if she has gained a bit of weight, she can cover it with clothing - she can begin to lose the weight in summer.

To Dance Well Shirley & Partner Must Touch Chests

The "Strictly Come Dancing International Latin Super Star Live in Hong Kong 2007" was held last night and invited Shirley Yeung as guest to perform with Latin Dance teacher Jurgen Neudeck. Since Shirley wearing a deep V dress, she will be in close contact with Jurgen during the performance.

Shirley expresses that after participating in "Strictly Come Dancing", she has gained little experience from it. Before the event started, Shirley practiced for approximately 5 hours but during it, she accidentally scratched Jurgen’s nose making it bleed with her nails. Luckily, he wasn’t angry and even took photos with her for memories. He says he admires Chinese girls for being so strong and believes that they shouldn’t be so close the first time they meet. Speaking about foreigner's openness with meetings, Shirley says that she wasn’t quite used to it when they were in contact the first time, but you will eventually come into contact with you partner's body when you're dancing with them.

Shirley also reveals that last night she invited many of her friends to attend the function and when asked if she invited her boyfriend Gregory Lee, she immediately froze a bit and then awkwardly said: "No matter what I will perform my dance to my very best."

Nancy Sit Leads Veteran Cast For TVB New Series

TVB new series Silver Mansion Golden Powder held a blessing ceremony today to mark the start of studio filming. The series stars a host of veteran actors including Nancy Sit, Ng Wai Kwok and Paul Chun as well as younger cast members Christine Ng, Shirley Yeung, Nancy Wu and Jack Wu.

Nancy [Sit] revealed that she plays Paul's first wife in the series and his character has three other wives, so there is a lot of conflict between them in the storyline. She said that her character is quite scheming and realises that sometimes it is necessary to take the wrong path in order to protect yourself. However, she said that in real life, she has never taken the wrong decision, no matter how difficult the situation has been.

In her spare time, Nancy has also been busy raising HK$10 million to build a clinic in the Tin Shui Wai area because the government does not plan to build a hospital there for another ten years. She has been busy drawing on her contacts in various professions to help out and she secured a lot of support earlier during her appearance in the Tung Wah charity show.

Shirley explained that she plays a maid in the series, which is a period drama set in the 1920's and in one scene, her character shows her body to the young master, played by Matt Yeung. She also has to film a scene where she is bathing under a waterfall and she said that she is quite worried about shooting this in the cold weather and keeping warm. She said she will also be bullied by Rebecca Chan in the show.

Shirley Yeung Meets International Dance Stars

Shirley Yeung took part in a press conference today for the preview to "Strictly Come Dancing International", where she met international latin dance champions Bryan Watson and Carmen Vincelj, who will be the guest performers at the main event next week.

Shirley asked for tutelage from Bryan and presented him with gifts of a pen and a jade pendant. In return, Bryan presented her with a sexy red dance outfit, which she loved. The duo then demonstrated some moves on the dance floor in a very close and sensual performance. Shirley revealed that she had not rehearsed with him beforehand, but she was not embarrassed, just a little nervous. She added that she does not mind a little close contact whilst dancing.

Asked if she will be wearing her new outfit for the main performance, Shirley said that she will have to see how her rehearsals go, but she hopes that her figure will fit the outfit. Asked when she will be performing a dance with her boyfriend Gregory Lee, she said that she will think about this later.
