Shirley Yeung Shops For Anniversary Gown

The anniversary of TVB is a day where most fa dans dress to look their best and being the who doesn't know how to dress well, Shirley Yeung has prepared early this year and have specially chosen a beautiful gown.

Shirley's taste have always been criticised and in order to avoid more bad comments this year, she has prepared a sexy night gown which shows off her figure specially chosen for this big event. When asked if she was getting ready because Sonija Kwok revealed that she was going to wear something sexy as well, Shirley laughs: "Of course not! On the night, everyone will look really good and I don't mind people comparing us. It only happens once a year, so I must try to look my best!"

Other than the gown, Shirley and Selena Li have both arrived at a jewellers to try on seven-figure sum jewelleries. Shirley says: "On the night, I will have to be very careful. I must stay very alert, because sometimes I am quite clumsy." (Do you have any of your own jewellery?) "I do have a ring worth a few thousand dollars. It has a lot of commemoration value because my mum gave it to me as a graduation present."

Although Shirley's aim is simply to attend the anniversary, but this year she has not been nominated for any awards. However, she supports Ha Yu and Lee Sze Kei to get the "Best Male & Female Artiste" award, and good friend Selena will take home the "Most Improved Actress" award.

Shirley Yeung Gains 5 Pounds In Singapore

Recently, Shirley Yeung and Timmy Hung was sent to Singapore, along with a group of models for some travelling promotional filming. While they were there, they ate alot of countries delicacies and as a result, Shirley gained a total of 5 pounds! The girls wore bikinis and the guys where topless, whereas Shirley who didn't needed to wore a swimsuit, stole most of the limelight. However, facing a number of well-built men, she reveals that she feel a little bit awkward: "There is a some tension between us, because all of them are so muscly!"

In Singapore, Shirley also saw the world's second largest turtle. She says: "Although its only a model, but it's the same as the real thing, it's so cute." As well as taking photos with models, Shirley also went on a few rides - such as the ferris wheel, roller coaster and sky ride.

Shirley Yeung Says "Bob" Haircut Is Cute

Yesterday Shirley Yeung attended "The Link Kaleidoscopic Philippine Fiesta" at a shopping centre where she played numerous games with the audience and sang songs. When Shirley was young, she had once went to the Philippines with her parents and still wants to go there today. However, Shirley will be doing some travelling promotional filming in Singapore, hope she will have a good trip!

Shirley had recently attending the lighting ceremony for the 41st TVB Anniversary where she wore pink with a bob hairstyle to match it. On the other hand, many fa dans gave this an opportunity to "show-off". Maggie Siu wore a low-cut dress whereas others revealed their jewellery and therefore, made Shirley's look less obvious. Shirley herself states that she has read the news lately, but she is not unhappy. At first, she was going to change hairstyles and wear a wig, and even thinks the bob haircut is quite cute. Little did she know, it wasn't accepted - she smiles: "It's a new look! Doesn't matter, pretend I wore it because it suited me!" Reporters also pointed out that if she dressed sexily, she would receive good comments, will she dress like that in the future? Shirley reveals that she did not try to dress sexily on purpose. "At times you should try different looks, but will receive whatever comments given."
